“This morning one of the neighbors came by the house. He had 3 cows out on the road; he tried getting them in himself and was unable to, so he was wondering if I would bring up one of my dogs to help. I took Skeeter…

Skeeter had to bring them up the road a mile before we got to an open gate where he put them in. My neighbor was ever so grateful and Skeeter was so happy to help out! The owner of the cows was huffing and puffing when he showed up at my place: he had run them on foot and they kept getting into the orange grove which is nearby and scattering.

Skeeter made it look easy: he drove them along the fence-line, not one got onto the road and into the nearby grove. We stayed in the truck the whole time…

Skeeter is a great dog and still going strong at 10 years old.

A good dog is a must when you have livestock and the English Shepherd is the best!”
