Hap-P English Shepherds

Rosemary Peterson, Minnesota, 218-495-2970
Litter born February 4, 2024

Sire: Persimmon Amos Obadiah

Date of birth: 11/07/2019
Registration: ESCR, UKC
Hip screen: OFA Good
Other testing: MDR1 – Normal/Normal, CEA – Clear, PRA/PRCD – Clear

Description: Amos is a tricolored, fit 70lbs who, with his good looks and charm, stops people in their tracks whether he is greeting onto the farm,
strolling through a store, comforting in a nursing home, or visiting rowdy students at school. Of course, he aced his Registered Therapy Dog test.

Amos works hard at tasks on the farm (sometimes I don’t even know how to tell him what to do, he just does it.) Varmints don’t even bother coming around any more. Amos and Beulah are both tough on rams and bulls, yet so gentle with chicks and lambs and children.

Pedigree: Colonel’s King Henry x Persimmon Willow-the-Wisp

Dam: Hap-P Sweet Beulah

Date of birth: 06/17/2021
Registration: ESCR, UKC
Hip screen: OFA Good (preliminary)
Other testing: MDR1 – Mutant/Normal, OFA Elbows – Good (preliminary), CEA – normal, PRA/PRCD – normal

Description: Beulah, sable and white, is also good-sized at a solid 60lbs. She is a tough go-getter with also a good sense of self preservation. Sometimes she gets a little too wound up with too much grip, but motherhood seems to be settling her down some. Beulah learns quickly, and she cheerily passed her canine good citizen test at the tender age of four months, two days. She is highly favored by the grandchildren. Beulah and Amos both have abundant coats that clean up easily for a trip to town where they enjoy Therapy Visits and Home Depot shopping.

Pedigree: Bard Giefer x Avon Giefer

Comments:

Litter born February 4th, 2024 – 4 females and 8 males – healthy and strong pups: tri-color, sable and white, and piebald

These pups, like their parents, we expect to be substantially built, sound of body and mind, with good farm instincts, and a friendly, open, and helpful attitude. Their yearling siblings are proving themselves in working as farm dogs, child companions, service dogs, and a military family support dog. These pups are raised with care in our home with plenty of socialization, outdoor play, and exploration. Their foundation is a labor of love.
