Call for Nominations and Notification of Election
In accordance with the English Shepherd Club bylaws, nominations for office may be made by any eligible member by written petition or email, and should be delivered to the Secretary by July 1.
Nominations should be accompanied by the written acceptance of each nominee, signifying his/her willingness to be a candidate. A written statement of the candidate’s qualifications, not to exceed two hundred and fifty (250) words should be provided by the candidate before July 15.
You may nominate yourself or any other willing member in good standing.
Offices up for election this year are as follows, and the term of office is two years:
· President
· Editor
· Director at Large (2)
These are working positions, as the English Shepherd Club is run solely by volunteers. The board meets monthly, and all board members serve as liaisons to a committee.
If you are interested in giving your time and talents to continue the Club’s mission of preservation, promotion, and support of this breed that we all love, please consider serving on the board, or on one of our active committees.
